15 month old?
Answer:
Ignore the crying for 3 nights. First night, she'll cry for a while. this is the hardest night for parents. Second night, she'll cry for a much less time. Third night, she'll wake up and make a peep or two, and fall asleep. After that she'll sleep through the night.
let her keep it
give the bottle to her, but put juice in it. and if she's curious, then
tell her it's milk.
put pickle juice on the end of the nipple, only on the night bottle and she won't want it. this would be the perfect time to introduce the cup. give her a drink before putting her to bed.
perhaps she isn't ready, but this is what I did when I was weaning my children of the nightly bottle and it worked for me. I would give them water in their bottle at night.
let her have it she will give it up when she is ready. She has plenty of time no rush.

Babies are to not be on a bottle after 12 months to prevent ear infections. I have seen almost three year olds drinking from a bottle. I personally would just not allow my baby to have it and to be tough. I'd give it a sippy cup. Eventually it will drink from it. Babies cry.
Try switching to a sippy cup. They do have ones with the soft nipple so she will think she's having her bottle. Bottles are very comforting to some children and they have a hard time letting go. You can use her sippy cup for a couple more years and then ween her to a regular cup.
she isnt to old for it..if that is the only bottle she has thats great give her some time with it i let my daughter have her night time bottle until she was 2 but all others were gone at 10 mths...its a comfort zone and she is still a baby..when she is a bit older u can tell her" hey honey we r going to try a sippy cup tonight ok" or dont even ask , just hand it to her and see what she does..i just did this with m 2 year old last month and did not hear a single complaint andno bottle since...Good Luck
