My baby boy is 3 1/2 months old.his head is still conical. should i massage his head to make it normal?

It was a normal delivery for me .at his birth his scalp area was conical in shape. i was told that it will become alright soon. it is better now. but still a bit conical and not normal.his head bones have become very hard now. so even afterweards will it still reshape and become normal?

Answer:
I know you're already going to hear this, but ask the babys doctor.
There are real medical conditions that will cause a babys head to be mishapen. One, is called craniosenotosis. It is where the baby has no soft spots and the brain can't seem to find enough room to grow. It is a serious condition that requires at least one or two skull surgeries to fix.
The other, (more common) is called plagiocephaly and it is where the babys head is mishapen because of the way he's been laying. My son had it and had to start wearing a helment at 5 months to correct it. His head is perfect now!
Good luck and congrats on your new baby boy!!
my daughter had the same problem so my mom "shaped" her head by just rubbing it daily.
as soon as he is sitting up unaided his head will be normal,a baies skull doesnt fuse until it is 18months old
There“s no need to massage the head. It will re-shape by it self with time. No worry.
