11month old with a stomoch flu?
I'm nervous she could be getting dehidrated, should I take her to emerg? What are some signs of dehidration? Concerned mom!
She's sleeping right now!!
Answer:
I went through this with my daughter. She couldn't keep things down and threw up violently for a whole day. I ended up at emerg. I see you're giving her Pedialite. If she continues to not be able to keep things down, take her to emerg. They may need to hydrate her with an IV. Until you do take her, avoid all foods and liquids that are creamy, like milk, cereals etc. These foods will only continue to upset her. Keep her on clear fluids, Pedialite popcycles, lots of rest. If, by the afternoon, shes still not keeping stuff down, get her in. Good luck...I know what you're going through!
Glad to hear she's starting to keep food down.keep us up to date!
Take her to a dr, if you can make an appt for today please do.. it sounds like it or it could be something else.. just give her pedilite so she doesnt dehydrate..
I would take her to the E.R. she probably does need some i.v. fluids even if she is drinking now. It will probably perk her up real fast. Good Luck!!
