1yr old Separation Anxiety Question, any advice?

My little one is almost one and has major separation anxiety. I'm blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom for him.

He has a real problem with my husband and I leaving. We've tried several times to bring him to the nursery at church and the gym but the daycare providers usually get us after 10-15 minutes because he gets so worked up.

He plays well at home on his own. We have a large area that is surrounded with babygates and never cries when I leave the room.

Any suggestions or how long this lasts or how to ease him into being without us? Thanks

Answer:
with my little ones we dropped them off at daycare the first few times for only 5-10 minutes at first then when they were ok with that we tried a little longer also we learnt that if Daddy dropped them off it wasnt such a big deal, you just keep reassuring them that you WILL be back hope it works
HI, YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT HE NEED YOU. IT'LL HE DOSE NOT NEED YOU ANY MORE HE WILL LIT YOU KNOW. TRY IT HIS WAY. THEN YOU CAN WORK IN HE GO TO DAYCARE ONE TIME FOR AND THEM YOU DO IT FOR HIM.
