Breastfed babe, 4 months mature, not taking bottle?

My daughter is 4 moths old. During her first few weeks of natural life, I gave her a few bottles because she be tongue tied and had huge difficulties latching on correctly. She would latch near her gums! Yes, OUCH is right!! Anyhow, I sucked it up and kept breastfeeding her. Once she got the hang up of it, I never gave her another botle feed. Now, I'm going back to finish my Masters and will be away for a few hours a daylight (3 hours), but she won't take a bottle. Now she doesn't know how to suck from the bottle. She plays near it, chews on it, then get frustrated and starts to cry. Any suggestions on getting her to take a bottle?
By the agency, I have tried rubbing breastmilk on the bottle nipple, and even squeezing the milk out of the bottle while it's within her mouth so she knows theres milk surrounded by there, but no step.

Answers:    I found it very frustrating and upsetting; it took nearly a week - but we got nearby eventually.

It felt close to we tried everything - what worked for us was making sure mia be not too hungry; but hungry enough - I vanished the house at the same time everyday and my partner tried the bottle - he kept going until our daughter get distressed and then stopped fast - we didn't feed her; but they payed for something like ten minutes to distract her and then tried again.

After in the region of an hour if it was not successful he put her contained by the pram and took her for a walk and next I fed her.

Eventually he put a few raw teething crystals on the end of the teat (she loves them) and she started putting the bottle within her mouth; and then eventually begin to suck - hey presto; we haven't; looked back...

Good luck; but do keep on - I know how stressful this time can be.

consider switching bottles to something that closely resembles a breast nipple. Avent and the new soothie bottle works honestly well. Change the bottle nipple shape and see if she like a different shape. Otherwise whoever is her caregiver while you are gone is just going to own to cope with any syringe or cup feeding or she'll freshly wait for you to carry home. my son pulled that when i went put a bet on to work. he'd refuse adjectives feedings until I got home...LOL he give that up in something like 3 days and finally took the bottle
