Does your friend want pressure or hardware mount? Metal or Wood? Does she want the entire gate to swing or just a part of the gate? I'd suggest looking at gates from Punkin Products. You can find a search box for wide gates that will fit 65 inches. Have your friend look at the Extra-Wide Swing Gate, the Auto-Close Gate with extensions, and the Extendable Gate.

here's the one we used, goes to 60" wide and if it's wide enough for her I recommend this company with all my heart - we just love one step ahead for all sorts of baby needs and goodies.
