Answers: Could they possible hold said craniostenosis. IF This is what they said it is a condition where in that is premature fusing of skull bones- this means that the bones tie together to soon.If this occurred afterwards it would inhibit the growth of the brain.
The important entity is that if it is this condition then it have been diagnosed and can be treated.In the few children I own seen they enjoy removed a strip of bone to stop the bones from joining together allowing the brain to continue to grow.They hold done very resourcefully.

I work next to a little girl who this happen too. The parents decided against the helmet and not she's 2 and her spike is longer and she looks fine. I guess it has to do beside how bad it looks.
im really sorry to to hear that, I know someone who didnt use the helmet but im pretty sure they wish they would hold, I really think you want to use it if that is to say what is suggested.
My son had like problem but was diagnosed sooner at in the region of 2 months. He did not have to own surgery or a helmet but his head is still a short time misshapen, not enough to be shameful.

Well no I have never certain anyone who has have surgery on their skull. Honestly I think you should do closely research on his condition so you know your options. But the helmet seem like a perfect idea. I hope the best for your son doesn`t matter what happens.
I would presume at 7 months he should still have his soft spot which channel his head isn't fused nonetheless. So hopefully you will only requirement the helmet. I say don't verbs until you know more. Until then read up on adjectives the information you were given and find more online (but be threatening of the online stuff!)

My son went through a similar situation near a fontanel that closed early. By in the region of 3 months, his fontanel (soft spot) was simply about the size of a quarter and we get a referral to a pediatric neurosurgeon from our pediatrician. The neurosurgeon measured his head and talk to us about how the fontanel take about two years to completely form. He said that the sutures (the opening) would close and fuse, but, sometimes would overlap when it be too early. This is when they would recommend surgery to cut embark on the sutures.
Well, we were worried and upset, but, the surgeon reassured us that our son be fine and that he just a fontanel that closed hasty. He also went through the flat skipper thing for a while, but, he grew out of it as he get older. We did try different sleeping positions and he be fine. Now, he's almost nine and he has a great shaped team leader.
Try to relax and talk to the neurosurgeon. Surgery other sounds terrible for a infantile child. It may just hold some time for your son's head to even out and the helmet may be a solution. But, later again, it just may time and different sleeping positions. Remember, not everyone is blessed next to a great shaped head and that some things are merely out of our control. I'm sure he will be just fine.
