At what age is an average age for a baby to go into a size 2 shoes?
Answer:
That's a tough one until you actually see those precious little feet. Every baby is different, but a size 2, most babies aren't walking yet, so even if they are a little big when you put them on (say at 3 months instead of 5 months) no one will ever know. I wouldn't buy any higher sizes though in advance or too many pairs at that. My son was a preemie and wore size 0 until he was almost 3 months, then size 1 until he was 5-6 months, and size 2 from 6-8 months, then his feet started growing overnight. He wore a size 3 for less than a month, then size 4 for about 2 months. He is now 16 months and already in a size 6. Of course I spent $20-$30 per pair of shoes and bought him several pairs of each size. BIG MISTAKE! I wasted so much money. Learn from my mistake. Too bad you're not having a boy, I have 4 pairs of shoes with the tags still on them. Might as well give them to someone that can use them-------Congratulations!
Well size 2, i think you will be fine, Its hard to say becuase every child is different, Some babies have long skinny feet, some have small fat feel. Its hard!!
about 6 months...
My lil guy went into size 2's at 3 mths and is just growing out of them now at 6 mths. I would buy them size 2's and just keep checking them against her feet.
