Funny that you asked this! I just get a sheet from my doctor yesterday! The main ones to verbs about surrounded by the beginning/mid first year for sure are peanut butter (not only the peanut allergy but the effect of it sticking within their throat), milk, obvious reason, peanuts, hot dogs because of the skin, anything with a lofty sugar content, like cookies, chocolate, etc. - nil other then 100% liquid, sorry if any of this is obvious! ;) and any meat that isn't FULLY cooked, very well done... :) no tuna. :) no honey! good luck!
I hold been surrounded by Childcare for 7 years & I've heard an abundace of things similar to... no eggs, yogurt, luchmeats, strawberries, peanut butter, honey, fish/shellfish, & Chocolate.... But I gave my daughter eggs, yogurt, luchmeats, fish/shrimp, pb & strawberries since she was 1 and she turned out fine:) They utter no pb or strawberries untill 1 because of allergy issues (when my daughter was 10 months my ped. told me that if she hadn't have an allergy to a food by then that she probably wouldn't). Eggs, yogurt, and lunchmeats are because of live germs that are in them. DEFINITELY NO HONEY! It can wreak bautchulism(sp?) I don't know why no fish/shellfish??

Honey isn't on this list because it isn't an allergen, but should be avoided until the infant is at least one year prehistoric because of the risk of infant botulism.
