Does someone know when is normal for a baby to say his first words, to start talking?
Answer:
All children are different. Girls are generally more verbal than boys (imagine that) Anywhere between 6-18months, a child will start saying words, or syllables for words, like "ba" for ball, etc, etc. By 36 months most children are using simple sentences like, "I want Ball". Some children are very advanced in speech, and some will take a little longer. My oldest daughter was having adult conversations at 18 months old. My youngest daughter was just starting to use any words at 18 months. Now, it's my youngest who talks all the time! My oldest is quieter and more reserved! Just make sure you always talk to your baby as you go about your day. That is how they learn, by hearing. Also, read to your child everyday.
my son said dada and baba at 6 months and started learning little words like that till about 1 years old they start saying a little more but they really dont say a sentence till about 1and a half
First words are normally some time in the first year, but actually stringing them together takes a while longer.
a baby will start talking when it feels it has to. If you are all into your baby and it never has to do anything then it probably won't do anything till it has to. Good luck!
A first child will usually say it's first words between 6 and 8 months. If it is a second or later child, it has older siblings to speak for it and may not use words properly until they are older. All children develop differently and there is usually no cause for concern if a child is responding in some way and can say some words.
My daughter said her first "real word" when she was around 9 or 10 months and the word was ball, now that she is 15 months she says all kinds of things!
i was talking and walking way before i was a year old.
