Breastfeeding problems, but dont want to quit..?

My daughter is 6 weeks old. Two weeks ago I started pumping exclusively basis she and I both had thrush and I required it to clear up. It still hasn't gone even with adjectives the medications I enjoy tried. Now the pump I bought (by evenflo) just broke. My milk supply is also starting to shift down from pumping(from 8oz to 6oz per session). Is it worth going out and buying the medela pump I saw at Toysrus for $250? I don't want to waste money I don't own if breastfeeding is not going to work out..Any advice?

Answers:    As for the thrush, hold you tried genitan violet? It is an over the counter prescription found in the first aide piece. I got mine at walmart for below a dollar. It works great but fair reproving it will stain skin and clothes purple. You dip a q-tip in it and next coat the inside of the babies cheeks then in half a shake put the baby to the breast so both of you return with treated at the same time. (or you could other paint yourself purple also.) The other thing you own to do is sterilize in boiling sea anything that comes in contact near the baby's mouth or your breast or it will keep coming hindmost.
If you daughter is only 6 weeks feeble then yes, it is worth it to buy a Medula because you can verbs to breastfeed for up to a year and I bet you will wish you have if you could. Keep manually squeezing and stimulating your breasts, get a cheaper newspaper, whatever you requirement to do, but don't just stop this untimely...you might regret it.
Just my opinion!
