Answer:
I can recommend you books by Dr. William Sears. I love them!
Here they are:

1. The Discipline Book: How to Have a Better-Behaved Child From Birth to Age Ten by Martha Sears and William Sears

2. The Baby Book: Everything You Need to Know About Your Baby from Birth to Age Two (Revised and Updated Edition) by William Sears, Martha Sears, Robert Sears, and James Sears
he's just a baby!!
aww......so cute!!!!!
just dont pay attention to that behavior
he hates his mom,apparently!get a switch,lol...hahaha
3 OUT OF 4 ISNT BAD...JUST DONT GIVE INTO THE TANTRUMS..ASK SUPERNAN
slap em one, no lol just kidding yell at him its the only way and if he still does it send him to his room until he calms down when he yells you yell...its work too!
spank them on the butt don't tolirate bad behavior. My children are very well dehaved
Wants Attention!
Visit a pediatrician. Your child's temper could be a symptom of some serious medical reasons.
Either spank him or ignore him. Whatever it takes to get him to understand that a tantrum will not get him what he wants.

Typically babies cry and throw tantrums simply because they cannot talk and the lack of being able to communicate is frustrating. One thing that I found out, however, is that they are starting to teach infants and toddlers sign language. That way they can "talk" to their parents and express themselves even when they cannot talk.
Ignore them. Make sure you don't give in. He will Learn quickly they don't work. Remeber It never hurt a child to cry it out.
He was born that way!
I have 4 sons and the first and third were calm compared to the second and fourth.
My youngest is a year and a half now and it was right before he turned one that he started showing his temperment.
He throws fits, too.
Tiredness, frustration...it could be from a number of things.
But don't ignore him when he's throwing a tantrum, because at this age and for months to come, he will most likely bang/bump his head and you don't want that to happen!
maybe he's a hyperactive person.
Explain to the child why he can't throw a fit. Tell him the things he is destroying cost daddy a whole bunch of money to buy and how hard he had to work and if he tears anything else up he can't have anything new for a long, long time.

Good Luck.
at his age he is frustrated about something but lacks the ability to tell you in words what is bothering him. Also this might be his way of letting off steam after a hard day. I would talk to your pediatrician to be sure.
Play with her and joke around with her a lot smile : )
Try to ignore him when these fits start. Once he sees that he cant get your attention when he is having a tantrum, his temper will start to settle again. He will eventually ware himself down, but I admit that its not easy to ignore the screaming fits. Both of my boys had MAJOR temper tantrums... it wasn't easy, but the good news is that most kids outgrow these fits by age 3. Good luck!
Do NOT yell back! It is important that you remain as calm as possible when he acts this way. A parents' bad behavior only reinforces a child's. Talk to him calmly, try to figure out why he is so unhappy, but do NOT give him a lot of attention when he does this (that reinforces the behavior too). It is likely that this is just a phase and he will grow out of this. Seeing a pediatrician to make sure there is not a medical explanation is a good idea too.
He is only 10 months, you must have been real lucky with the 1st 3, maybe they are the ones that are tormenting him.
My 3rd one thot he would begin acting for hollywood as well. I was so shocked that he would throw himself down while we would be shopping. My then, 89 year old pediatrician told me to simply ignore him and keep walking. So the first time I tried it, I thot i would laugh (without him seeing me of course) and I kept on walking away (not far, mind you) and when he had no audience, it truly worked. He simply got up and followed along. It took 3 times and he decided it wasn't worth his time to do it anymore. Even adults will act if they think Hollywood will call. LOL God Bless.
people the kid isn't even a year old. you can't yell or explain things- he's not going to understand! Probably won't understand the spanking that young either. try to figure out why he's having 'tantrums'- it can't just be no reason. and i mean what do you mean by a tantrum? is he like just crying really hard or doing alot of screaming or what? because i babysat two kids of a friend's for awhile, the older one was always such an angel but the younger one, as a baby, screamed like a little demon. but babies don't know any better, so i wouldn't reccomend any discipline.
DEAR first see a doctor if no help from him are a nurse then here is what to do with her you might not like to discipline her but you might have too i have 3 nephews 12 6 3 my aunt the LPN of 25 year had one girl she is 18 and has one of her own now that said there are 4 ways to handle it (1) time out in a chair in the Conner (2) on her knees with her nose in the Conner set a timer for 10 minutes where she can not see you 3 put her in your room no toys if she cry OK 4 hate to say it a good old fashion spanking put her across your lap in your room her room does not matter but do it
He may just be the tempermental sort. That's about when my son started showing his temper. He's 2 1/2 now and starting to show progress in growing out of his terrible 2's.

The best advice I had on this: proceed as you mean to go on. Teach him the rules and give him time-outs for his fits so he can collect himself.
Hello, I have a 10 month old also. My daughter has started doing the temper tantrum thing too. I think it is just a phase they are going through. Hopefully REALLY SOON they will outgrow it. haha I think it is because they are trying to hard to let us know how they feel or what they want to do and they just get aggravated. Do you ever feel like you just wanna scream and act nutty at times? Well, they do too! haha It's just that we can't act like that and they can. I wouldn't discipline him when he does that, just pick him up and hold him. Maybe he just wants some lovin from his mommy. If he doesn't outgrow in the next few months, I would suggest taking him to see the pediatrician and see what their advice is for you. Hope things get better soon! By the way, you are SOOOO lucky that you have 3 other children that didn't act like this. I only have one child and she has one bad little temper! Take care!!! Good luck.
