Till what age, you are supposed to swaddle an infant, my daughter is 3 months, till how many months i do this?

Answer:
My son is 5 months old and I still swaddle him. He loves it! It's the only way he'll sleep more than 45 minutes. Once I started doing it regularly, he now sleeps about 10 hours at night very comfortably.

I say keep at it. I see no reason to stop. It's not like your daughter is going to be calling you from college needing you to swaddle her. I figure when my baby doesn't want it any more, he'll let us know. When I bring out his swaddler at night, he puts his arms down at his sides to "help" me out, it's so cute!

Oh, and don't worry about her rolling over while swaddled. They can't do it, my pediatrician said so when I asked.

Good luck!
til she doesn't like it anymore, every baby is different
when they don't want it, they will kick and fuss... if she still likes it, keep at it
Basically you swaddle an infant because they like the restriction of it and get scared when they are able to move their limbs (since they were not able to in the womb). It's not something you are "suppose" to do per say, but many infants find it comforting. If your little one is okay without, then you can stop.
I swaddled my son till he was about 10 months old. I guess he loved the snuggliness of it. It was our tried and true way to get him to sleep at night, at bedtime we'd swaddle him and cuddle him and he'd go right to sleep. We never swaddled my daughter, she hated it!
if she feels comfortable like it keep doing it till she starts to show signs that she doesn't need it any more its her comfort she feels protected and safe
i would say to swaddle until your child doesn't like it anymore.
Were we supposed to stop? My daughter is 13! LOL I have 5 kids, I stopped swaddling them once they kept kicking the blankets off. It's different for each baby. I can remember it was around 4-5 months. My 4 yr old daughter still asks me to wrap her in a blanket before she goes to sleep some nights. So it depends on the child. wink
My son is now 11 mnths old. He did not like swaddling for long - kicks the blankets off and likes sleeping with legs and arms all over the place. However, he likes to be held tightly when I rock him to sleep - especially when he is feeling under the weather. So, let your baby guide you to when to stop swaddling, but do not forget the security they feel when wrapped / held tightely.
