At 1 and a half months you need to be worried about RSV. I would take the baby in just to be safe. Remember babies can not breath through their mouths yet. So if her nasal passages get clogged they can not breath. Im not saying this to scare you but because it is fact. parents.com and webmd.com have some very good resources addressing this issue. You may want to take a look at that information, it may help you decide what to do. If you don't do anything tonight at least run a humidifier of boil some water for a bout 30 minutes to help you little one breath easier.
Put a vaporizer or humidifier in her bedroom. And I also suggest a trip to the doctor's office, being that she is so young.
If she is running a high temp. you should take her to the Dr.
Keep suctioning or the fluid will settle in the babies lungs and/or ear canals and then all kinds of problems develop. Take the babies temp. If you don't have a digital one use the rectal type. You know your baby. Do you think there is a fever? If so, go to the hospital or call your pediatrician. Are there other symtoms? Dehydration is a main concern with an infant. Is the baby urinating with bowel movements? Are they normal? If your worried, call you Dr. That's what they are there for.

1. Spray baby saline nosedrops in your baby's nose, then 10 minutes later, suction out the mucus.
2. Keep a humidifier in your baby's bedroom.
3. Remove any sources of dust from your baby's room. Vaccuum, remove any paper from the room. Don't let animals go into the baby's room ever. If the baby's mattress is old, put a plastic cover over it (under the sheet) to prevent dustmites from contacting the baby easily.
I did this, and the baby got better immediately.
Try a vapor plug at night when she is sleeping. Use saline nose drops and gentle suction to get the boogies out and see your pediatrician in the next couple of days if its getting worse or doesn't go away.
