How to clean you baby's nose shes gotta lotta boogies?

If you really can't work it out, though:-
Ist choice clean his or her nose before it dries.
Backup plan, use a soft cotton wipe wet with warm water.
ok now listen care fully get a tissue and wipe them out
Use a small q-tip. Don't push it up far, just put the part in with the soft piece and swirl it around.
There is a little suckie thing you can buy. They don't like it, but it works!
you have to get one of those bulb sucker things, get a napkin, and suck the boogers out with it and empty on napkin, baby will not like this much but he/she will feel much better... i hated doing this w my kid!
Usually the hospital gives you one of those bulb syringes. You can suck the snot and boogers out with that. It works quite well. If you didn't get one than you can buy one at the store in the baby section.
There is a special attachment you can buy for your vacuum cleaner. If you don't have one, just duct tape the hose to its face then switch it on. The suction will remove all those nasty boogies from her.
there is a little plastic thing that comes that you like "suck" the boogies out by sucking out hte air. it doesn't hurt at all. and it is really safe. however, babies hate it, but that is pretty much the only way.
i suggest to fold a paper into a little triangle and start gently wiping.
If it's really "runny" like "drippy" then use a ball syringe. I find my son has lots of boogers in the morning, they are somewhat solid though so I just use a q-tip. Make sure you don't push it in too far...don't wanna poke her in the brain :) He always coughs a little while I'm doing it because it's awkward but he feels alot better afterwards.
well most people prefer the bulb serigne the little blue thing they give you at the hospital or you buy at the store that suck the boogies out. What I do before I use the bulb seringe is I take some wate and put some salt in it. Its home made saline. Put a few drops in the opening of the nose not fully in the nose what it does is helps to loosen the boogies so that you can take them out easily with the bulb seringe.
Over the counter nasal saline drops and a nasal aspirator. They even make a battery operated nasal aspirator that's sold at Target.

Also elevate the head of her bed when she sleeps at night, by putting a pillow under her mattress. This will make the congestion go down to her stomach and not stay stuck in her nasal area.

Go to the store and look in the baby section you will find the cotton tips, that you can gentle use to clear the nose of your baby if you are not sure please ask some one who is more experience with babies.
warm washcloth will help to get any dried boogies away from the base and opening of the nose. for the boogies inside, sit in a steamy bathroom for 10 minutes. THen lay your baby down and use the nasal aspriator to suction the boogies out. This should help, but please know your child will most likely NOT be thrilled with this process so it may take a while.

If you put vaseline on the dried crusty bits it will soften them enough to get them off, then apply more to stop new ones from sticking. Also use one of those bulb syringes... though personally I don't find they help much.
Tummy time helps drain the sinuses as well. If your baby won't lay on his/her belly alone, lay them on your chest and play peek-a-boo.
Use a nasal aspirator. It's a bulb syringe (usually blue) and you insert the end into the nostril and suck out the boogers. They didn't show you or tell you about this at the hospital? It's the same thing they do after delivery to clean the nasal passages.
I would use a nasal aspirator. Those with wider tips are better because you can seal them against the base of the nostril to get better suction without having to physically stick them in the nose. If the snot is dry, you can use a few drops of saline or sit in a steamy bathroom. I have wiped them out too if they're close the the base. I use either a tissue or a baby wipe.
I had to do this all the time when my 4 kids were very little with colds. You do it two ways..extremely gentle or very assertive and take charge;
1. Use a very thin baby wash cloth, soaked in warm water and lay over nostrils to warm the crusty thick mucous, then wipe neatly (allowing baby to breath through her mouth).
2. More take chare way is to spracy "Ocean Nasal Spray" (you can find it in any drug store) up into each nostril. This will thin out the mucous so you can then use a nasal syringe to suction the boogies out. Baby does not like this while your doing it but will breathe so much better in the end.
3. Take the baby with you into the warm shower and let the warm water break all the mucous up and use the syringe in the shower.

A bulb syringe, it is very, very, very important that you keep you baby's nose clear...the reason being is that baby's breathe through their nose's they are obligate nose breathers...they do not breathe through their mouths! When using the bulb syringe BEFORE you attempt to suction the mucus out of the baby's nose you must depress/squish the bulb part so that it deflates and when you place the tip of the bulb syringe into the nose by releasing the bulb syringe it creates a vacuum like action. Sometimes, the mucus may become dry and hard or just difficult to remove. If so, along with the bulb syringe which can be found in the baby isle are saline drops. A few drops of saline into the nose before suctioning can really aid in clearing baby's nose.
But honestly, if she has a lot of boogies you need to bring your baby into see the doctor. The doctor needs to evaluate your baby because your baby may need antibiotics for an infection. Your baby can also be suffering from allergies and a long term plan of care may need to be started.

SIDS is when a baby stops breathing (unknown reason/cause) and dies. Although, the cause for SIDS is unknown, studies have shown that SIDS occurs more frequently in homes that have smokers. Babies rarely die from heart disease or cancer...they die because they are unable to breath! So please bring your baby in, you may be saving his or her life!
When I had my son, they gave me a bulb syringe. You can also buy them, but the one I got at the hospital works the best. Squeeze the bulb BEFORE you put it in thier nose. Gently place it in their nose(not too far in), and release the bulb slowly. Clean it out between "sucks". If she's really stuffed up, ask your pediatrician about using saline drops with the bulb syringe.
get the sucky thing and do it really fast... all else fails, if a bugger is sticking out... just grab it... hahaha your a mommy!
