If you have a female cat and don't want any baby kittens i suggest you get him neutered right away.
they usually go into heat( if they are female) around 6 months old but i would not suggest breeding them until theya re at least a year old to let their bodies mature and keep growing. I also want to add that they can be very annoying when theya re in heat. they start to meow more and loudly put their rumps in the air and rub on you even more. they may also start urinating on the floor. Oh and by the way when you ge t a female fixed it is called spayed and a male is neutered a female can not be neutered lol

at six months, they CAN be fertile enough to make babies. If you have females around and don't want kittens, get the females spayed or the males neutered.
