Have you lost baby weight/mummy tummy 10 or more months after baby born?
Thanks
Right now I am trying to get in 15-20 min of activity a day, and eating healthy. nursing once a day. I dont want to do a crash diet to have it all come back.

I can sympathize. And I don't see where in your post you indicated that you gained a lot of weight during your preganancy, so I am not sure why someone posted to this effect. I can relate to your comment about breastfeeding -- I read that it can help you lose weight, but I hit a plateau after dropping 20 pounds in three months following the birth, and then gained two pounds!
I gained 32 pounds -- right on target for my size -- during my pregancy, and had trouble shedding the last 12 (+2!). At six months, I felt like I was five months pregnant with my poochy tummy. I stopped breastfeeding at six months (disclaimer, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends women breastfeed their infants for at least one year...but that wasn't going to happen with my work schedule...) After I stopped breastfeeding, my extreme hunger stopped and I found it easier to diet.
What worked for me was the South Beach Diet and tummy crunches -- sit ups, crunches, and lying on my back lifting my legs up. After I stopped breastfeeding, my cravings for high carbs seemed to melt away.
So I think you may just need to be patient. And good for you for breastfeeding so long!
It is fat that you gained during pregnancy which is why it is important not to gain too much weight. If you follow a low fat diet and eat according to your doctor's caloric amount the fat will eventually diminish. It may take up to three months. Be patient and drink lots of water and get plenty of exercise.
What you were before the baby, plus how much excess weight you gained over the pregnancy, plus how active you are now equals out to a smaller tummy.
I never had one so I didn't expect one. I did return to my normal weight at 125 after 3 kids you should have dropped weight after a few weeks. Excercise will help a lot, take the kid for walks in a baby backpack. If your nursing the worse you can do is crash diet, just don't do it.
Put that baby in a stroller and walk 45 minutes. It is the best exercise for everything. You probably have loose skin from the pregnancy. That takes a while to go away... if ever. all you can do is remove the underlying fat, with diet. Read "You on a Diet" by Dr. Oz. That is a really good nutrious type of plan for your whole family.(Oprah recommends too) To firm up the muscles there are many exercises that work. Lay on your back on the floor and lift your leg and cross over to the opposite outstretched hand--one easy one that I used alot during and after PGs. Good Luck!
PS: i would go back to nursing a couple times a day. the baby is still pretty young.. at least until he walks.
