If circumcision prevents disease why don't we remove or babies teeth to prevent cavities?

i think a more apt analogy would be to remove the fingernails. They are just so darn hard to clean under and what purpose do they really serve?

People in ths country are so very afraid of the male foreskin that they make up all sorts of zany reasons to chop it off without the consent of its owner. Everything from 19th century masturbation prevention to 21st century magic invisible condom that will prevent STDs. Circumcision is a cure in search of a disease.

Teeth are needed to eat. Baby needs to learn to eat solid foods. Cavities can be prevented.

Well everybody has his/her opinion. So you can only educate them about the issue and hope for the best.
I have had three boys and all of them circumcised. And the diseases that you are talking about are STD's. Circumcision reduces the chance of STD's. And hygiene is another factor. I myself don't want to be pulling the skin back on my 5 year olds penis to make sure it is cleaned properly everyday. Circumcision is a personal choice and If I had another ten boys they would all be chopped. Brush your kids teeth and don't give them to much sugar and you shouldn't have problems with cavaties.
Circumcision makes much more sense than removing teeth. Your opinion has been noted, but all of my boys have been circumcised and any other boys I have will be as well..
Honestly, there have been many studies that have proven that there are actually more reasons not to circumcise your infants, however, I am expecting my second son, and play to circumcise. Not because of health reasons, but because of religious convictions.

The foreskin serves no purpose. Those who have it removed are less likely to get infections.

Actually circumcision doesn't prevent any diseases. It is mostly for cleanliness...some mother's are lazy and won't keep under the foreskin clean and it can get infected. Other than that there really is only one other reason for ciricumcision and that is religious. If you don't want your male children circumcised don't have it done.
You are making some bad assumptions. There are medical reasons for circumcision.

Secondly, unlike teeth...there foreskin does little to help and much to hinder. Mens sexual response is no worse in studies if circumcised.

This is not logical!! You have issues dude. The link you provided is information from austrailia!! Why don't you find a REAL issue to try to get people to be against. Why don't you video what a real circumcision is like instead of the video from some dumb other country! At least my husband and I have peace of mind about our son's circumcision because we were in the room and he was numbed for the procedure and didn't even cry. It was very fast too! He was in perfect shape the whole time it was healing too. I'm not going to sit here and defend myself of why we circumcized our son but serously get over it and stop putting garbage in people's brains! My husband and I both agreed that when he had his heel pricked it was a lot harder on him!
