Middle names? for twins we have the first names Help me?

Well Actually we have two sets of names..were not quite sure which ones we like better yet so give us middle names for both.

Girl - Keely / Shayla

Boy - Kyler / Shayne

Answer:
It's my opinion that middle names need to be able to stand on their own as first names. No matter how well thought out your child's name is, there is a chance that he/she will not like the one you chose, and a middle name with its own character will give him/her a choice. Also, varying the number of syllables makes the name interesting. One more point: You probably know that the days of Ann, Lynn, and Marie (or Allen, Wayne, and Lee) for everyone's middle name is over, but nowadays it's Rose and Nicole, James and Michael, so we still have middle names that are a little too common. With that I submit:

Keely Angelica
Shayla Christine

Kyler William
Shayne Benjamin

The effect I was going for was names in a different sort of tradition, with a variation in syllables, so they have options.
I have a cousin named: Keely Shae

Shayla Lynn
Kyler Landon
Shayne Robert
Keely Lynn
Shayla Lia (like leeah)

Kyler Matthew
Shayne Niam

(I'm a poet so yeah it's all things that sound good together)
.I have twins,so I know what your going through.Choose something tottally different because when they get older they might hold resentment for being twins and being precived as the same person. So at least they will have something for themselves that wont be the same.Good luck!
Wow! First off Emily, congratulations on expecting twins. I take it they are a boy and a girl? Well done :) I'm partial to the Keely/Kyler names (I have 4 and all their names start with c), but as far as the middle names go - you're set! Name the girl's middle name after one of your mother's (the one that sounds best), and the boy you can name after the other one's father! That way you are incorporating heritage and family into their names and also you're not upsetting either your parents or your partner's parents by giving the middle name of one of each!

Congratulations and best wishes on a healthy pregnancy and a quick and smooth delivery.
First, thanks for not giving them rhyming names!! :-) It bugs the heck out of me...

Keely Paige (I really like that name, if I didn't have my girl names all picked I'd steal it!) :-)
Shayla Ann (I picked Shaily Ann if I have a daughter)

Kyler Ian
Shayne Michael

I'll keep thinking about it and add to this if I think of more.

Congratulations!!
I say NO to Shayla for a girl - too typically now
I say NO to Kyler for a boy - too girly...
SORRY

I say YES to
Keely Brown for a girl
Shayne as a second name for a boy - cant think of one to go after it, sounds like a second name to me
I don't have any names for you, I just thought I would share with you that I have two younger brothers that are twins and being unexpected in the '60's my parents were at a loss for middle names for them and instead labled them as A. & B. The first born being Mark A. and 3 minutes later came Martin B. Good Luck with your search.
Keely Shea
Kyler Jacob

Shayla Marie
Shayne Michael

Congrats on your new babies!
keely adrianna or shayla amber

Kyler Austin or Shayne Austin (adam works too)

i also like

-keely elizabeth and Kyler edward
-shayla Brianne and Shayne Brian (or bradley)

hope this helps and congrats!
so the decision to go with almost mirror names, that hmmmm

but you do know that although their souls will mirror, they won't actually be a match? So something that unites them but not to the point that you wouldn't look at the names and grow tired. Or worse yet, they wouldn't want to see the names. Check my answer from the first question, it might even work better in middle names.
keely renee/ shayla christine

kyler lee/shayne michael
GL
Keely Sophie

Shayla Niamh (pronounced Neve)

Kyler Rudy or Ruben

Shayne Arron
I named my baby Tatum Paige.
Why don't you do
Keely Tatum
Shayla Paige
?

Kyler needs a family name.
Kyler Novak
Shayne is a tough one!
(maybe you'll have girls!)
