I would either consult her doctor or go to walgreens and talk to the pharmisist. check her temp. also to make sure she isn't running fever... anything over 100.4 is a fever for babies.

I would consult with my physican because the pedilyte is to put nutrients back into the body to keep from dehydration. pedilyte should be used when the child is running a high fever, and when the baby has loose bowels. Call your doctor. Your baby may have an ear infection also. Keep check on body temperture. A small infant should be seen by physican.

pedialyte? of course you can but don't give it as an alternative to milk. milk is still better. consult your doctor immediately if baby has fever, that cough and colds might already be pneumonia.

pedylite is for replacing fluids when bub has diareah and vomiting,or very high temp and not eating or drinking.for a cold and cough see your chemist there may be a syrup suitable for a 2 month old.failing that, you can use a humidifier in her room with some eucalypt/methol type drops in it.These canoften be hire d from the chemist.

never give any medications not prescribed by a doctor to babies that age. my 3 moth old baby got sick last month. he had colds and cough. the pedia admitted him to the hospital because babies this age are very prone to pneumonia which is very serious. i suggest you take your baby to the doctor ASAP

If its any help my baby had simular at the same age I took her to the doctor he said if you can hear a rattle in her chest its a chest infection or something like it if its just a runny nose a little cough and nothing else its a viral infection which there is no cure and the baby uses her immune system to fight it he just suggested a few drops of saline up her nose to help her breath ( its only salted water)
