What are some new foods to give my 1yo?

He just started eating yo baby yogurt, pieces of bagel, cooked veggies, and fruit. He like Lil Entrees from gerber and those pasta pick ups, spaghetti-os, and raviolis(not sure of the spelling). What other things can you think of?

Answer:
toast, mac and cheese, cheese (the pre sliced is very soft and kids love it) Soft small pieces of chicken nugget, puffed cheetoes(ok not so healthy but my kids LOVED them as babys)pudding..the list goes on and on. As long as it is soft and easily mashable, and your baby likes them, just experiment. It depends a lot on the child too. My oldest was very easily gagged as a baby, so I had to be more careful with him than my other two. The gerber meals are great, but are really quite overpriced. You can make the same stuff yourself, for cheaper and healthier. :-)
Cheerios are great too..and the gerber cereals that are flavored..they taste great and disolve very easily.
i pretty much give my 1yo whatever we're eating, as long as it's not spicy or containes nuts, or any other small pieces that can be choked on. steamed veggies and the fruit cups in a light syrup are a good choice. she also eats animal crackers and teddy grahams. just look around the store and see what you think your baby can handle.
Bratwurst, Twinkies, Mountain Dew.
Stay away from the winnies and the peanut butter that is for sure. I read some where that they are not suppose to have these things untill later. I give my daughter Cheetos, Crackers, Fruits (I have tried her on just about every fruit out there). The key is if you feel he is ready for it then try him on it. The first couple of tries though I would be right there in case of a reaction or choking on the food. He should be able to eat just about anything. Just play around with different foods and see what he like. Have you tried regular bread yet?
Be very carefull of the prepackaged meals, they contain HUGE amounts of sodium. Try frozen veggies and fruits- they are super easy to microwave in small portions and do not have a lot of sodium like canned/jarred once. My 1yo loves cherry applesauce, any cooked pasta, grilled cheese- basically he eats everything we eat just in small bites.
mac and cheese.
how many teeth does he have?
maybe some rice and chicken broth and some pieces of chicken made little.
make a soup with rice chicken veggies and beat it.
scrambled eggs in the morning?
juice
pasta
string cheese
i not for sure what others think but i have a 2yr and 1yr and they both eat normal food as long as me and my wife cut the food up good enough just make sure they get milk, water, breads and fruit
Scrambled Eggs!, my kids live on them, (1 and 2 yrs old)...Cheerios, or fruit loops...graham crackers, low sodium saltines...mine love cheese stixs, as long as they are pretty good with solids...
