What bottles should I use for my twins?
I used "Second Nature" for my boys (Alex, 3, and Andrew, 5)
But I didnt like those bottles. Do any of you have suggestions for Alyson and Amanda's bottles?

If you're breastfeeding, you need a bottle with a slow flow, which will help prevent nipple confusion. Nipple confusion happens mostly because it is much easier for the baby to get milk out of a bottle than out of the breast. Second Nature is supposed to be good for breastfed babies for that reason. I haven't given a bottle to my 10 month-old yet, but I have Dr. Browns Natural Flow Baby Bottle. I looked at the design and I find it looks good because it eliminates vacuum inside the bottle (like what happens when you drink from a juice box...).
Since you have twins, I guess it could be difficult to feed them both at the same time if they're hungry, so you could always try the Pacifeeder. Babies have to be 3 months before they can use it, but it might be worth looking into it. Check out the web site for information.
dr.browns are the best. i have every bottle in my cabinets until i found ones i liked and thatwas dr. browns

Playtex bottles worked great for me. The one's with the plastic bottle liners. They keep the air out, so less chance of tummy cramps from gas from the air they suck with 'regular' bottles.

We use Gerber Comfort Grip bottles. We're very happy with them. We started out using Playtex Drop In Nursers, but within a few months we found that the drop-ins themselves started having a petroleum smell to them no matter where we bought them. We went through a good many brands before we found the Comfort Grip bottles. We've never had a problem with them and we plan on using them with our little one who's on the way.

We really loved Avent, and had no problems. The disposables were brand new when my son was born, so we used conventional bottles, but they are both very nice. Nice nipples that mimic the real thing.

I don't have twins but I have went through bottle feeding my now 3 yr old and 1 yr old. I've used Avent bottles and nipples exclusively. I find the bottle shape is easy to clean, the nipples are wide and my girls never had a problem with 'nipple confusion' with them. They vent through the ring so I didn't have much of a problem with bubbles. The nipples can be changed to match age, although I never went beyond the 3 month age with my second.
My one complaint, and it's more caused by me than the bottle, is that if you leave the nipples in the rings without drying them seperatly, mold will build up in the vent area of the nipple. This washes out easily with a nipple brush, and if you are sure to dry the nipples outside of the rings it doesn't happen. Hope this helps.
Though I started with Avent, I mainly used Nuby bottles made by Luv N Care. They come in various sizes, and have little raised bumps on the nippples so they stay in their mouths easier. They also have handles, and come with matching sippy cup souts when their ready. Due to the handles, my son was self-feeding by six months old!
Dr. Brown's are really good bottles they reduce the gas and spit up!

I've used Advent bottles for all my girls, I thought that they were great. My sister and my best friend (who had twins) swear by Dr. Browns bottles. Those would be my top two choices...here is some info about the bottles.

Congrats on the twins!! I have 4.5 boy/girl twins so i know what you are going through right now. I suggest you use Dr. Brown's, Playtex Ventair or Playtex Drop-ins bottles right away so you dont have to worry about gas and colic. I had to learn the hard way. These bottles keep air out so the babies wont be gassy and it reduces colic. Good Luck, arent twins wonderful?!
Have you ever seen the Playtex bottles that have the air vent on the bottom? I used that for my daughter. I know they come in a box that has 6 ounces and 8 ounces in it.
