Is it appropriate to bring your 2-month toddler to a Christmas staff deputation?

Apparently nobody brought their children to the last one-but since I've be on paternity leave everybody at the department has be pushing me to bring her in. It's a formal attire which starts at 7pm for dinner and ends at 11pm. Naturally I would with the sole purpose stay until about 8 or so after intake with my daughter surrounded by my soft carrier.
She's really virtuous and only cries when she's hungry (which I could slickly do in a sluggish area or entry in the hotel).

There's no stipulation against bringing surrounded by kids so I'd like to know your thoughts. Thanks.

If you're solely showing up for dinner and then getting lost -- sure, bring her along. At that age she's mostly going to be sleeping, and most babies do resourcefully sleeping on parents in carrier in crowds. We go out to restaurants &c with our daughter at that age beside absolutely no problems, and she across the world seemed to relish the new sights and sounds until she fell asleep.

(Props to you for using a delivery service and not leaving her forever in a vehicle seat...)
