My baby is 2 months old and he is having a lot of dandurf in his head?
Answer:
It's just cradle cap. Almost all babies go through it, it's normal. Just rub in some baby oil once a day after bath and it will go away after a few applications.
Take him to his doctor. Could be something other than dandruf.
sounds like cradle cap. make sure you are rinsing the hair REALLY good after you bath, only wash his hair every second day. put baby oil and, and brush his head with the soft bristled baby brushes. that should clear it up
He might have cradle scalp, cap.. which ever it is called. Take him to the doctor so they advise as to what to put on his head so that in case he touches it he doesn't get it in his eyes.
When you use the Baby Oil use a soft bristle hairbrush to rub it into the scalp. Only use the Baby Oil right after a bath because contrary to belief Baby Oil can actually dry out the skin from too much use.
Its not dandruff, its cradle cap, and your doing just what you need to do, after you rub the oil in see if you can comb it out, it will go away by doing that.
oo, that is not dandruff, its called cradle cap. its perfectly normal. what my mom used to do to help baby's head not flake and stuff, is to rub some baby lotion in baby's hair and on the scalp right after its had a bath, and that will help it. there also might be a cream or something out there that you can use too.
this is called cradle cap just rub some baby oil on it and it should clear up on it's own in a week or so.
Since your child is only 2 months old is doesn't sound like he's got dandurf. It maybe cradle cap. Wash his head good with baby shampoo and the put baby oil on his head... rup it through very well. it should help.
your 2 month old scracthes his head? amazing! you should wory about the nails more than the cradle cap though. he can get his eyeballs! just scrub it off every few weeks, it takes some patients to get it off but it will come off.
Its called 'cradle cap' brush his hair three - four times a day with a soft bristled brush and in a few days it will be gone.continue to brush his hair twice a day to maintain it and keep it away. Its just dead skin cells...babies grow SO FAST that the body sloghs off the dead skin cells and they start to cluster.
That is common just keep doing what your doing with the oil. Many baby's get that just don't aggravate it by picking though it is tempting to get it off leave it, you will irritate it more. Good Luck!
It's known as Cradle cap, yellowish thick on baby's scalp and maybe eye brows? You could use a soft bristle baby brush to remove some at a time, careful not to hurt scalp. This comes from not washing hair enough. Keep baby's hair and face clean with wash rag. This is no reason to go running to the Pediatrician all baby's get this.
It sounds like Cradle Cap, my daughter had it for, what seemed like, forever! I used Kerry Body Lotion. I put it on her head and used a fine tooth comb to comb it out. The Kerry really helped with the itching and it broke it up so I could actually comb it out. The oil didn't seem to help at all. Good Luck, and remember- this is normal! :)

Sounds like cradle cap, put baby oil on their head and brush it with a baby brush, should get rid of it. Unless your using hair products on your child, it won't have dandruff.
I did this: take a fine tooth comb, like the ones that come in a baby brush and comb set, and gently comb out the skin. It will just peel right off. Don't worry if your gentle they can't feel it. Then just keep some oil on it. they do make cradle cap products that you can get at the pharmacy. I never had to use it as the comb did the trick.
I agree that it's most likely cradle cap. My daughter had that, and her scalp was really itchy and flaky. If the baby oil isn't helping, try vaseline. It's greasy and a bit difficult to get out of his hair, but if your son has very sensitive skin like my daughter, the fragrance in the oil could make the situation worse. If you can find them, they also make special shampoo for babies with cradle cap. The vaseline worked well, and it helped clear up her eczema as well, because the usual lotions just irritated her.
Try Olive Oil...it's thicker and doesn't slide around like baby oil. Just rub a little bit of extra virgin olive oil onto his scalp and use a soft, but not "too" soft brush to gently comb it out. As you first start to brush, it may seem like you are just making things worse. It will probably get flakier, and may even get slightly red. Just take a cue from your baby, if he seems content, keep brushing...it probably feels good to him. But if he seems fussy, or the scalp gets very red...it's probably not working. After you finish combing, you may want to rewash his hair to get rid of the flaky oily mess. Just make sure you don't get rid of all the oils. You can coat his head in Eucerin lotion to keep it from getting so dry. It's greasy, but works really well. This process kept the cradle cap away with my babies. And as a daycare teacher...it's worked for every baby I've tried it on (with Mommy's permission of course.)
One thing I would NOT use is Selsun Blue! I've seen it done, and yep, it will get rid of the flaking...but it will also leave baby's scalp leathery.and no one wants a leathery baby!
