Is it colic or is she spoilt?

If I put my daughter down, she screams everytime and wont stop. If I hold her, she stops. She is 2 months. All her docs right to be heard it is colic, but one says sounds approaching she has separation anxiety. Any tips how to break this? She does not hold reflux and I have tried adjectives the swings and sligs and carriers and wraps.

Answers:    Oh worthy lord! Of course she's not spoiled...!

That's a myth, that babies can be "spoiled," in that sense. Keep on beside the cuddles!

edit (having read your other follow-up q...) -- own you tried bringing her in a shower or tub?

My daughter has never bathed alone within a baby hip bath; she's always be in a tub beside me or a shower with Daddy, and have NEVER EVER done anything but enjoy the wet.

She's a lovely baby in the present day, but I do regret that when she was younger and fussier we didn't a short time ago spend more time in the shower or tub beside her. We should've just hung around within the water next to her until we drained the hot water cistern every night. It be a really nice time (er, in retrospect).

When you pick her up and she stops crying -- embezzle that to heart. I think cuddling a kid is a pleasure no matter what the hour of afternoon. It's a real luxury, self able to stop the cries of somebody you love so much.
You can not spoil a two month-old. Listen to her doctors. She wishes to learn to trust you at this point.
