Are there any good, unique, girls names that arent too long or too "out there"?

Answer:
my boy is called Jaydan (also spelt jadyn, jaden ) which means bright eyed and its kinda biblical too cos it means something in Hebrew as well - best of traditional and modern but its also a girls name too just like Kendall, Jamie, Leigh, Toni (tony) Kyler etc

what about Livvy- Mae , Amber -Leigh, Aralyn, Caragh, McKenzie,
Rayne, Riley ,Zaragh , Teagen , Kady lee, Domani(tomorrow in italian) Aurora, Aaliyah, try http://www.babynamesworld.com
I've just been reading 'Bleak House', so how about the names of the two young heroines - Ada, or Esther?
I've always had a thing about Niamh (pronounced Neve). It's a traditional Gaelic name, a bit unusual especially in its spelling but it's a nice name.

Look for your ancestors and choose from there.
A friend of mine came up w Memory for a name, and at first I hated it but now I kinda like it, and her granddaughter is named Skyanna. That one is pretty cool.
But what's funny is that you may find some really cool name and then the baby is born and it just doesn't suit her, that's what happened w mine. We planned to name our daughter, if we ever got one, Amy, but she just did NOT look or seem like an Amy, so it changed at the last minute to Emily.
Good luck whatever ya name her !
You should try and link the name with possibly where you are from or someone in the family.
That's what have done but I try and put a twist on it.
EG My nan's name is Lily, so my daughter took the name Lili.
My husband and father in law's initials are DJ and JD, so my son became a JD, spelling his name Jac Dafydd (father in law is a John and hubby is a David, so tied both of those in).don't go for any of these trendy names as you may regret calling your girl "Pink" , "Mercedes", or "Chardonnay" in the future when it's not so popular! (Apologies to all if you've called your children this!!) Its all personal preference and choice at the end of the day so therefore if you find a name you like, just use it!!
Swallow, Eglantine, Sonja,Sibella,Izabel, Jezebel
