First of all, to all the dumb people that are gonna say stupid stuff. You can find a perfectly good and safe crib for cheap. We got our crib at K-Mart for $100. You can try a thrift store or resell shop. Just make sure the bars are not more than 2 3/8 inches apart. Also, talk to WIC or your Public Aid office, they can probably help you find something. you could try Wal-Mart. Or maybe go by a church in your neighborhood. They be able to help you with a crib or get you in the right direction to get one. Good Luck!!
i got a top of the line brand new crib in a thrift store for $25!! thrift store shopping is awesome. you can find anything and everything if youre patient and good at searching.

The Jenny Lind Crib. It's under a 100 bucks and was rated as one of the safest by Consumer Reports. I bought this one for my daughter - it's really cute, and if you like , it has a matching changing table available.

try freecycle.org. ask for one in ur area, someone is bound to have one (Thats how i got mine) and we are sanding and repainting it but its so pretty.
I got mine at Wal-Mart for $68 it is not fancy but my baby sleeps fine!
