How do i stop my baby from wanting to breastfeed?

Answer:
All babies want to breastfeed. That is what babies are born to do. Looking for nipples is an instinct and nothing can override that. Even formula fed babies will rout for a nipple when held near one.
we need more info how old is the baby
Babies are like us lazy in nature, just put some breast milk in a bottle and there you go. That is what my wife and I did for our kids.
Are u hurting or something or is the baby just gettin to old? all u can do is slowly get him/her off of it. By starting to give him/her a bottle more often. But dont just make a sudden change cuz thatll be harder. But babies are different, It was easy to switch my daughter over right away, from breastmilk to formula, from formula to reg milk, and from a bottle to a sippy cup it was really easy!
You want to stop breastfeeding? What a pitty, but then sometimes you have to depending on work or health.

First of all - have you dried up? Babies can smell milk, so if you are still producing - then of course they would want the real thing - not fake milk (human milk is for human babies, cow's milk is for calves).

Have someone else feed the baby until you dry up, if possible. If not, make sure that you aren't leaking milk when hearing the baby cry or when feeding them. Change nursing positions so the baby can't root for the breast.
The breastfeeding urge is a natural, God-given instinct. It is there because breast milk is the absolute best thing for your baby, unless you are a drug addict or take in other things that could harm your baby. If you are dead-set on not breastfeeding your child, you'll just have to ride out the storm. It will take time, if it ever goes away. If I were you though, I would reconsider my decision. Breastfeeding can connect you and your baby at an emotional level that would make you cry. It will bring you honest-to-God joy once you get past the sensitive nipple stage.
