***Baby bump changing shape?***?

I'm at the end of the pregnancy (39+ weeks) and my husband pointed out this morning that the bottom of my "bump" has suddenly become soft. It was hard before. Is this anything to worry about - and/or could it be a sign that the baby is dropping further into position?

Answer:
You will most definitely notice changes as you approach your due date. Most women notice as the baby drops that they can BREATHE AGAIN! The hardness that you may have been feeling could have simply been the baby's back or shoulder. Your baby may have just shifted a bit as he/she heads down into your pelvis. As long as you're feeling well and feeling movements from your baby I would say there's nothing to worry about. But, if you are concerned, call your dr., a mother intuition is never foolish!
could be you have dropped, meaning the baby is locking in to the "blastfoff" position.
Yep, your precious little one will be here shortly...
Lol...baby's coming.

How's your breathing mama? Can you almost almost almost take a full breath again?

No worries mamma...baby just moved into position.

Take a nap, have some ice cream, and put your feet up and listen to the quiet.you won't hear it again for quite some time.
sounds just like the baby is dropping down and preparing for labor.
the baby just changed position :) nothing to worry about, start getting excited!
