What are the wages for day care?

At the center where I work, listed below you will find the rates, however, we are an accredited center and a 3 star rating as well. All of the teachers have a degree in Early Childhood Education
Infants $135.00 a week
12 months until they are pottied trained $ 125.00 a week
3 and up $ 115.00 a week
preschool $ 100.00 a week
I have a friend that has a home daycare and she charges a lot less
Babies minimum of $20 a day up to $30 depending on what you provide for them. 3 year old minimum $15 a day up to $22 if they are pottied trained or not. I did in home daycare for several years and I was pretty cheap. Infants-18months $20-----19months-almost pottied trained $18--------pottied trained was $15. That was 3 years ago when I stopped and I was just getting ready to raise my prices.
I pay $110/wk for my 3 month old and $95/wk for my 4 year old at a daycare. At a woman's house my children stayed at, it was 95/wk per child in diapers or not.
It depends on where you live. I am in NY and pay $40/day for an in-home daycare for my 3 year old, which is very competitive compared with other daycares in the area.
