My baby constantly has cold hands?

My little girl is 3 months old. Lately I have noticed that her hands always seem to be cold. I dress her warmly. She is always in a onsie plus a weather appropriate outfit. Lastnight I decided to put her in a onsie sleeper and a sleep sack and her hands still seemed cold but the rest of her body seemed warm. She is chewing on her hands alot and so I dont know if thats whats making her hands so cold or what. Should l be concerned. We keep our house just right not to hot not to warm.

Answer:
No cause for concern. I receive weekly emails from http://www.babycenter.com and my Dr. is the excellent Susan Black of Cleveland Heights, Ohio Kaiser Permanente and they both assured me that this is normal newborn behavior. Babycenter lists it as one of the top ten concerns parents have for new babies. I just put those little mittens on her when her hands are cold, my baby that is.
My daughter is almost 3 and her little hands are always cold too, I would say there is nothing to worry about. She dresses in sweatshirts, socks and pants too, I think its just how she is.
don't worried about it
out those little gloves on her (the ones that keep them from scratching them selves
Try putting her socks on her hands. Like little mittens.
wow everybody has cold hands

big woop!

and durrr shes chewin her hands, shes a baby... they chew everything

My hands are cold at this VERY moment
( aint it winter! )
slap some mittens on her
hi i would not worry duck, ours always had cold hands he is nearly 2 now and everthings OK
infants are colder than adults naturally. ask your doctor if you should be concerned. i dont think there is a problem and i have two kids that are 8 and 6. they survived okay. an old saying: cold hands means a warm heart. the baby is probably fine. if anything there is a circulation problem. just call your docs office and ask the nurse. she should be able to tell you something. good luck
Their circulation to their hands and feet isn't always great yet so they do seem to get cold hands/feet easier than we would.
