My 3 month baby's stool is dark greenish/grey. It looks like mudd. She eats Nestle Good Start. Is this normal?
Answer:
I'm pretty sure that as long as there is not blood in the stool, everything is okay. Call your doctor to be sure, but I think everything's okay.
Yes, my daughter drank that formula for a little and her stool was like that also.
Yes its normal, my little girls did that to when we had her on Good Start. If you read the package it says on there that it may turn green. Perfectly normal
Yes,
Its one hundred percent normal. My baby had the same poop on nestle. Its the formula. Once it even came out the brightest green ive ever seen come out of a body...the nurse also said shes never seen poop that color either. I changed to enfamil and that doesnt happen now. a word of caution though...nestle good start's formula has misleading amounts on the cartons and your baby might not be getting the right nutrients. I took my baby off it because she did not gain one lb in a month..as soon as i changed her formula she was back to gaining steadily again. Good luck.
I have not tried the nestle good start but I always use enfamil and Heinz for rice cereal, and they are much better for your baby. Nestle does not seem to have all the good stuff in it like Enfamil, I suggest changing but if your baby is doing good then its your decision.
