Safe finger foods for 7 month matured?
Any suggestions for biddable finger foods for a 7 month old? She really really desires to feed herself but the gerber puffs / tot mum mum rusks are making me nervous... and peas are too slimy for her to draw from her fingers around.
Other ideas?
Answers: in that are a variety of kid finger foods on the market gerber make them...things like square chopped carrot pieces..dispense her a little dollop of mash potatoes...anything you can chop small should work...if she doesnt seem to know how to handle things chopped small..try chopping it after smashing it so she will not be able to choke on it
expurgate:cheese is a bad conception...she is only 7 months outdated...also the gerber sausages another answerer suggested they do sell those surrounded by the baby food aisle..you can chop them but they are extremely soft and pulp easily..when my daughter be under a year antiquated we gave her pudding jello shaped eggs..she would pulp them like crazy..and have one shirt she would wear while eating them because it would stain..she loved those jello/pudding eggs though..my son would gnaw on corn on the cob after we ate it..sounds rather nasty i know..but he be our baby
