Proposed Judgement for Child Support?

I received a "Proposed Judgement" for Child Support...how accurate is this and is this the amount I will most likely receive? I live in California.

Answer:
I think a proposed judgement differs only in the fact that if either party believes it is too large/too small that party has a chance to appeal it, the amount of days to respond should be either on file or your lawyer (if you have one? I did not.. I fouhgt my ex's lawyer... and braggin'? I won! ha!) sorry... momentarily forgot I was grown up? anyway.. ... I believe that is what it is.. it has been a while since I got a proposed judgement...
good luck!
Whatever you do stay on top of this situation. Contact your caseworker and ask her to explain down to every detail why the judgment is what it is. You would hate for your child to turn 18 and realize you could have been getting twice as much to support them.
That's what is being proposed to you to receive for child support. If you feel the amount is wrong, then your attorney can tell you how to proceed.
thats how much the dad has offered. Tell him to f*** off and take him to the cleaners
In our legal office (in Oklahoma) we have a form on our computers that computes for us. It requires check stubs from both parties detailing gross amounts and amounts witheld for insurance purposes. Then the form asks for approximate number of overnight visits with non-custodial parent and the amount each parent pays in child care. The form calculates according to all of these variables and is usually very accurate.
every state is different (slightly) about child support guidelines, but they usually go on both parents incomes, the childs needs, daycare, medical insurance, etc.

if you want to try and keep the child support down, offer to babysit or take the child on activities, doctors, etc.

here are some links. one is a child support calculator; just click on your state and fill it in.
