Is it possible to work from home when you have a baby?

I have a 9 month old and am a freelancer. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to continue working and looking after her now that she's mobile. Any other moms done both?

Answer:
I tried to do it but it's impossible to safely watch them once they are mobile. I hired a teenager to look after my child for a few hours while I was working.
I did and to be honest it was fairly easy once I got myself in a routine - however once potty training started i found I had less time to work, but did all my housework and made up for it when my son went to bed at 6 p.m.
It was so rewarding to be there with him and see his milestones - and at 2 and a half - he started nursery to allow him to socialise with others ready for school
I'm sure its possible I have a newborn and I've doing homeschooling. So Im sure you could work at home.
difficult but doable, there ends up being no seperation between work and home, which is sometimes stressful, but also has its advantages
