Click? Do you mean form cliques? I suspect that wanting to fit in is what makes many teenagers tick. The need to conform can be overwhelming due to peer pressure and bullying.
However, much the same is true with adults. A majority belief often becomes "truth" when there is absolutely no proof of it. I believe this is because many people have been bullied and have thus only learned the same, be it by their parents, their peers or their guardians. Thus, people feel that if they force their opinions on others and treat them terribly, it will save them from being treated as such. Wanting to fit in often makes people sacrifice their true selves for the acceptance of others. There is a terrible standard in this country for how a kid should be. A kid should be all that they wish to be, not indoctrinated into being whomever everyone else wants him to be. Unfortunately, peer and parental pressure makes this a very difficult thing.

What do you mean, makes teenagers click? I click with my friends when we go to the library or McDonald's. (Don't ask about the library, lol, we never read books).
