I'm planning to adopt a baby from Guatemala through For This Child agency. Would it be safe?

well i dont know where u live but i feel that if u live in a country where there are kids in orphnages etc that need parents ./ a loving home etc why not adopt here in our own country , but if u feel that u must adopt outside of your country i would do research on the adoption agencys , look around , and the other thing is find out all possible information on any child that u may adopt no matter where your from and make sure that its what u want cause once you adopt a child u cant take it out like yesterdays news paper , so do some research etc , contact others that have went through the adoption agency and c wha t they say about it etc no matter what good luck
My aunt adopted triplets: Kendra, Holly and Bridget from Guatemala. The babies were malnourished, they grew up in poverty and they went through that same agency. Now the babies are 13 years old, and they're typical teens: hogs of the TV, phones, computer and boy crazy. So yeah.
Although I have never adopted out of the United States, I don't see why not. I have friends who have...(China) and they have had no problems! Let me be one of the first to say congrats...and bless you for taking an unwanted child into your home and loving it like it always has been there!
why do you want to adopt through another country? don't you know there is plenty of children in the US that need homes just as bad?
why adopt from another country when there a hundreds of babies in the U.S that need parents
