In your opinion do celebrities adopt children to show off or because they care about less fortunate people ?

I think most celebrities are shallow and lame, so I'd say they just do it for the good attention.
I think celebs have the $ and its no hurt to their body. Its great that they are adopting children who need a parent.
Well since it seems that everytime a celebrity adopts a child it is shown on tv. I think they do this just for show. I mean, I wouldn't flaunt adopting to make me more popular.. so why would everyone else. There might be some who honestly do it to help the less fortunate, but most of it looks for show. Especially madonnas latest adoption.
In the case of Madonna, I honestly feel she cares about less fortunate people.
I think it is a mixture of both. I don't think a celebrity and their publicist sit down and think about ways to make people like them... like oh hey, you should adopt a child because it makes you look good. Really? okay, is india okay?. But as it becomes more and more popular many stars realize that A. It is very good press, B. It helps humanity without just giving large amounts of their money away and C. They can keep their perfect bodies and keep working, something a natural child may bring to a very abrupt end.
I think they really care about children because after they adopt them they really do try to give them a good life.i think its nice...if you've got the money the houses...and ev erything else why not do it?
I believe both. I genuinely think that Angelina Jolie cares for her kids. I also think Madonna does BUT I believe Madonna was motivated more by the wrong reasons. Publicity probably. Just my opinion.
I think both because Jolie has about 2 or 3 kids she adopted and she's in alot of magazines.
I really think that Angelina Jolie did it because she fell in love with both Maddox and with Zahara. But then again I am a member of TEAM JOLIE!!
I am not sure that Madonna didn't do it for publicity.
I am sure they are doing it for the publicity otherwise it wouldn't be all over the media.
