What Would You Do?

My daughter is 14 months old. I conceived her while I be legally separated from my husband. Yeah, that happen..

The guy I used to date has disappeared. I own no clue where he could be etc. He disappeared the country and went to Asia when I be 5 months pregnant. We were contained by a relationship for almost one year. The last entry he said was that he never desires to see me again or even meet the child. I in a minute think he have some mental cause adjectives of a sudden he treated me like the worst crap. He vanished no address.

I'm back together beside my hubby and we cancelled the divorce before it be final!

The bc is blank so far, stating that I "refuse information on husband".

Can I simply put him there?
What are our option? We live in Florida.
Do I HAVE to try to contact that guy?
We don't entail nor want child support.

Hubby LOVES my daughter. He keeps asking me every year what we can do about this. And also, what if something happen to me and there's no name on the bc?

Answers:    A lot of times if you can show that in that is now mode of tracking down the biological father then you can hold your husband step in a rightfully adopt her. I'm going through something of that sort, but I live in Texas.
I would contact your local county courts and find out what procedures they use or even look it up online. That's what I did. GOOD LUCK!
I believe that you can put your husband down on the bc seeing as how he is ok beside it and is accepting your daughter.
The bc should be the last item on your mind. You need to know the household history for your child. What if mental illness runs within the family? My son have a genetic heart problem.... I mean at hand is all concerned of things that could have be genetic in his household. Hire a P.I. they can find him, and you wont even have to make conversation to him. good luck.
You should own your husband file for loving rights. If no one is scheduled on the birth certificate you might know how to just make the addition of him.
I hate to utter this but you probably have to take his rights terminated and your husband adopt her before you can catch his name on the birth tag. This is horrible, but if something would happen to you, she would probably become a ward of the state unless your line took her in. Contact a legal representative to see what your options are. Good luck!! I go through a similar thing myself!
Look into parental rights. I'm not sure the exact allowed protocal. If there is no first name on the birth certificate, than your husband may know how to legally adopt your daughter, near no problem.

If not, track the guy down. Get him to sign the papers giving up his rights and move on.
