Help! Face issues?
I have tried every thing under the sun. Is there anything that I can use that will help?
Answer:
Go see a dermatologist. My friend had the same problem and the dermatologist discovered she had a hormone imbalance. Not only did taking some pills clear up her skin, but it fixed a few other issues as well. Dermatologists can also prescibe over the counter acne medication which will keep it under control a lot better than stuff you buy off the shelf.
As a homemade cure for zits:
1. Toothpaste will quickly bring a zit to the surface or shrink it... it's a toss up
2. Apple Cider Vinager will bring a zit to the surface and disinfect it quickly. It will help clear up your skin if you add 2 tsp to a glass of water and drink it daily. You can also try adding it to your favourite salad. (It will also make your hair shiny and help with sleeping).
I read that dairy is a huge factor in acne. Anything with dairy.milk, cheese, yogurt..anything. Stop eating/drinking dairy and see what happens.
is your complexion worse due to pregnancy? my skin was never flawless, but as soon as I got pregnant (both times), it was pretty bad. and apparently most women get beautiful glowing skin while pregnant! ha. you are probably doing all that you can, short of seeing a dermatologist. if you choose to do that, be sure he knows you are pregnant as there are products/medications you can't use. and talk to your ob about it, too.
also, be sure not to use a facial scrub, as that can irritate existing acne and make it worse. and be sure to use an oil-free moisturizer! good luck. i am 3 weeks from delivery and am hoping my skin clears up soon!
Acne is normally due to hormones. My advise is to see a dermatologist. There are many treatments for acne...from the pill to oral anitbiotics to creams...the list goes on. See a Doctor first. Good Luck
YOu can try changing your diet to see if that helps ie. cut out dairy for a week and then add it back in and watch for a difference - do the same for meats, breads, etc. Other than that, you'd have to see a dermatologist to see what help you can get.
