Suppository clenching?

I'm having trouble inserting a suppository on my 'recipient' because he keeps clenching his cheeks.

is there any way to get him to stop or loosen up? i already tried to ask him to relax. his (my sons) doctor said he must have a suppository atleast once every 2 days for the next week and a half.

Answer:
try www.webmd.com they might have some useful information
I tickled my son as the nurse put it in, it relaxes them...you have to make sure you do it quick
Wow-never had this problem before... Maybe if you have him try to go potty while you are inserting it, this will open the recipients "end" and be larger for insertion. Maybe try to shave the suppository down to make it thinner. A little is bettter than none at all.
Bribe him with a treat if he cooperates.
