I am doing a huge report on drugs help plz?

I work in a rehab center and though its for adults 18 years +, I can give you many excuses clients give me when I ask them why they started doing drugs or relapsed...
1. Depression
2. Stress
3. Hanging out with the wrong people
4. "People, places, things"
5. Significant other
6. It was available
7. I wasn't ready to quit
8. I stopped working my program
I hope these helped. I'm 21 now, but I know when I was in high school many of my friends were using and their reasons were because it made them look "cool" and partying on the weekend was just the thing to do. I think a lot of kids do it just to rebel against their parents, sort of a "you think you have control of me but really you don't" sort of thing. At work, I've also heard crazy excuses like "my baby was born" or "I had to choose between my medication and dope and I couldn't afford them both".

For starters,when you write that report,make sure to do a spellcheck. I would suggest, you ask around,see if anyone is willing to answer,let them know names wont be used if if they "know a friend" You can also go to your local police department, explain you are writting a report,they should have lots of stats.
