So from the question early: what to do with 7 little kids i decide to have a movie night.?

SO i'm thinking about getting each of the older kids favorite snacks making a fort and we watch movies in the fort how does this sound. It will keep all the kids in one place but it will now probly be 3 infants 2 toddlars and 4or 5 older kids(4-9).

Answer:
I think it is a great idea! I know that when I was younger we used to love to act out the movies once we were done watching it (especially when your mothers ask you if you can actually make a play about the movie). It teaches literacy skills, drama, and kids can have a lot of fun! (Unfortunately you will have to suffer through it though :P).

Have fun with all the kids!
That sounds like a good idea. My best friends kids love cars they will sit and watch it over and over (ages 6, 4, 2 and 9months) I watch them once a week right now but in about a month I will watch them 3 to 5 days a week.
well the infants arent going to be interested in a "movie night" lol We have four boys ages 4-8. And of course once in awhile we have other kids around to entertain. I say forget the snacks lol. Get pizza for supper, make the fort and eat popcorn. Its much easier than the whole snack idea, or get something they can all "snack" on. Your going to have the toddlers mad they cannot have any, and of course the infants are going to be crawling around picking up anything they probably shouldnt have, OR put the older kids in one room with whatever you have planned for them, And rent the toddlers a movie aged towards them, like dora or blues clues, barney, something like that. with the sippy cups and fun cereal lol
Sounds like fun. One movie that our family all sits to watch (3yrs old to 8yrsl old) is Swiss Family Robinson.
