My mom wants to know?

What does it take to raise a child?

Answer:
hardwork, determination, the desire to be a better parent than you had, endless slaving away- scouts, lessons, classes, homework, getting up @ 2am, 4am & still getting up at 6 to make breakfast & pack lunches. Being the center of someones universe is hard, but if done with Honesty, love & support, it can be the best!
love. money. food. shelter. more love. more money.
money, time, patients, and you have to give up your life if your young
patience and understanding
18 years and tons of patience
love and everything else is gravy. What i mean is you love your children and you will do anything to provide for them and take care of them
money...lots of money a place to live groceries clothes on there backs ...patience at anytime they always want to test it.love...unconditional at anytime they can make a mistake and they need to feel like they can come to you for anything. Being responsible because your child cant be responisble if a parent isnt
Compassion. Being able to see from the point of view of the kid. Consistency and discipline, kids will be kids and they need a mom that's going to be a mom and not a friend.
Love, money, food, a home, patience, understanding, time, energy, compassion.. SANITY LOL
Honestly, it takes everything.
Love, money, food.
Shelter, clothes, love.
Care, compassion, understanding.
It takes strength, wisdom, and courage.
To be a mother or a father, you must be brave.
You must be brave for your child.
For their future.
For your future with them.
But it's all worth it.
First and foremost, it takes the "want to" and the willingness to be a parent and put your child above yourself. It takes patience to get over the tough spots.

Money and insurance and such are necessary for anyone to live, so this goes without saying.
Why does your mom want to know. Being a mom she should already know. Anyway love and patience. Weither you have money or not. With out love, patience and being there you can lose your child to drugs, gangs, shooting and what not.
It takes WHATEVER IT TAKES for each parent(s) to ensure that the next generation has a better life than the one before. I am not perfect and I don't know if I am raising my kid better than anyone else might do but I am certain she will have more money, more knowledge, more opportunity, more fun, and better health than me or my wife were provided and that may not be the textbook ideal but it defines successful parenting in my book.
Love Patience respect and a good home life.
Love, a lot of patience and understanding. The income to properly afford the child's needs. Time to hear all their woes (even if it seems unimportant to you). Also, tolerance is very helpful.
your life,
Self restraint
two caring parents and a great paying job.
PRAYER!
Not much these days unfortunately. The question should be "What does it take to raise a good child?"
