(parents of teen kids answer)wats the worst thing your teenager could do eg do drugs etc?

Answer:
I don't have a teenager, but am only 24, so it wasn't that long ago for me. Teenagers do lots of crazy things - it's part of the growing up process. They could do drugs, get arrested for shoplifting, driving without a license, DWI, etc. They could sneak out of the house, have sex with random people to fit in, or get involved in the wrong crowd. These are very influencial years, so ANYTHING could happen. The key to keeping this stuff from happening is communicating with your kids. The more open and honest you are with them, the less overprotective and sheltering you are of them, the more likely they are to respect you and listen to you. And if they mess up, which they will - all teenagers mess up one way or another - try to understand and be there for them. Yes, let them know that you are disappointed in the decision that they made, but give them the chance to make it better before it turns into something worse. Your job as a parent is to keep your kids safe. They may not always agree with you, but give them the rope to hang themselves with first - then when they screw up big time, it was because of their own stupidity, not their trying to revolt. Just my opinion.
Get into a relationship with a person that treats them like total crap but yet they think that the person loves them...

Rehab is for Drugs
Condoms and pills are for sex
GED's are for dropouts
Lawyers are for cops
Pregnancy leads to grandbabys that i will eventually learn i could never live without

But blind teenaged love is about the craziest thing i have ever come acrossed.
They believe everything the other person has to say and are so nieve about getting manipulated by some one
besides the obvious sex, drugs, alcohol and anything else dangering their health physically and mentally i would be so very ashamed of my children if they became bullies! I think everyone has been bullied at one stage in their life but some people don't realize the life long effect and suffering it can have on people.
