MOMS ONLY!! Does the father's traits usually show more than the mothers??!?
Answer:
my two children are "stamps" of me!
All my children look like their ummm....donor! Eyes, hair, noses and lips!
i took after my mom and my kids took after me too.
My son completely takes after his dad. I have grey eyes and he has brown like his father, I have blonde hair and he has brown like his father. I swear they are spitting images of each other and after all that work i did he doesnt look like me lmao
MOM!
well both of my kids have straight hair, which i love. because i have curly hair. so i guess it all depends on the genes.
I have 1 daughter and she looks like her dad with the eyes and hair. I thought brown was dominant, but she has blond hair and blue eyes. Hope that helps!
I have 2 boys and my oldest is a carbon copy of his dad and our youngest looks just like me all the way.
My first girl has my husband's eyes and my hair (auburn). My second girl has my eyes and light blonde hair (like I did when I was little). My third girl has my husband's eyes and my hair. None of my three girls got my husband's dark brown (almost black) hair. Maybe if we had a boy?
It all depends on which gene is stronger. For example the colour brown in the eyes are dominant (stronger), so if the father has blue eyes and mom has brown, higher chances for child's eyes is to be brown unless the mother genes of eyes is not dominant. A child may take from both genes the father's or mother's or both.
That's why when my children misbehave I blame it on the father's genes, LOL.
well my daughter is JUST like me and my son has my uncles color hair and my shape in eyes because his eye color is to soon to tell but as far as facial features my daughter looks JUST like me all around and my son looks mostly like his daddy excepts the eye shape and hair
I THINK IT'S ABOUT EVEN. AND SOME KIDS DON'T EVEN LOOK LIKE THEIR PARENTS.
they all look like their Dad to me.. if its not coloring(3 are blonde and hazel eyes and the one brunette has brown eyes but the brunette has his head shape).
I really don't see myself in any of them :-\
I think he looks like me, acts like his father.
Two daughters - Both have fathers eyes (shape and color)
My nose (thank god)
My mouth.
You can see both in our children.
My son looks like he was placed into my womb to incubate. He looks nothing at all like me. 100% his father and grandfather. My daughter has her sperm donor's eyes but has a combination of our hair. I'm black and he was from South India with very curly (not kinky) hair. But in the face she vaguely resembles me.
well, boys take after the mother and daughters take after the family or their families. My son took my husband's hair and my daughter took mines. My son took my husband's eyes and my daughter took mines.
In my case, my son took after his dad. I'm black with curly (or should I say, nappy!) hair...my husband is white. Our baby came out white with straight hair. Thank God I saw him come out of me or I wouldn't believe he's mine! Haha! So, at least in my situation, his dad's features were more predominant than mine!
I think children take after both parents, one of my children looks
just like his father, and the others look just like me; but personality
wise all my children take after moi!
Our daughter is my twin and our son is his fathers twin but. I am the oldest of four kids I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. My youngest sister looks like my dad the rest of us look like the milk man we have blond hair blue eyes she has brown hair and hazel eyes like our parents so I guess you really can't tell!
My oldest daughter(16),looks just like me. And my youngest daughter(13) looks just like her father. So no, I don't think the mans traits show more. My self I think most kids look more like the father's side though.
my husband has darksih brownish hair. i have blonde. he was blue eyes. i have brown. my first son has blonde hair and brown eyes. our other twin sons. one of them has light, light brown hair. and brown eyes. the other twin has blonde hair and blue eyes. so im thinking that they take over the mom. well in my case they do.
