Is being rude and rebellious the way to get around strict parents?

Chances are the strict part is a little bit more on their part because you are being rude and rebellious.
Be grateful you have parents that care for you in the first place. Parents that actually take they time to be a parent and protect their child. You know and I know there are many out there that can not say that about their parents.
You may think it is not cool to be restricted from certain things, but when you grow up, one day, you will realize that everything they did was for the best. You usually find this out when it is too late to say thanks to them that cared enough.
No. By showing your parents that you pretty much hate them, they won't trust you and won't treat you like an adult. By being courteous and respectful, they will give you more privileges and will trust you more. I know it's easier to be rude and rebellious, but it's not the safest way to go about getting around your parents.

Being rude and rebellious is NOT the way to get around anyone. It makes things much worse for all concerned. Try listening to your parents for a change and respecting their wishes and points-of-view. If you give them that respect and courtesy, I imagine they'll be more willing to ease up on you. You need to grow up.

Absolutely not. You have to con them into thinking you are a good kid. This is an art. Parents have been there done that. You have to call when you will be late. Your car or friends car has to be where you say you will be in case they drive by. If you have a cell phone thats a plus because it can be answered from anywhere with the appropriate background noise. (They can tell if it's too fake.) Stay away from people who cannot chill when necessary, ie., people who get wasted and get you in trouble by association. Protect your privates! (You know what I mean.) Visine, altoids and LIGHT spray cologne are essentials for certian things.

NO. as a parent i would just buckle down and be even MORE strict if my child was showing disrespect. i have a ZERO tolerence policy!
No, it is not a way around strict parents. It is a way to show your parents that you are still immature and can't make good decisions on your own.
Behavior like that will cause your parents to tighten the ropes on you more. They are more likely to want you at home and under their supervision more than if you acted like a mature and responsible person.
