How much harder is 2 kids instead of one (7 years apart)?
Answer:
I had my two boys 2 years apart. The hardest part was my 2 year old wanted to help and I had to come up with little things that he could do. That should be a little easier with a 7 year old. Let the older child feel like a big kid. Let him help with anything that he is able to do so that he feels like he's a big helper, but also remember that he is going to need alone time with mommy as often as possible. Maybe read a book together or something so he doesn't feel like the new baby has taken his place.
I would think having one that's 7 wouldn't be bad becuz they're able to help out some. might make them feel more involved with the baby. just let him/her know that you'll still love them just as much, and that babies require a lot of attention. and try to find time once a day to spend with just the 7 year old once baby comes.
(i had a 19 month old when I gave birth to twins so not much help on how it is to go from one to two! just my 2 cents) good luck!
A second child can be easier because your experienced and the other child can also help out and is already more self reliant. Depends a lot on your age it seems the older you are the more work children are, but not a lot harder with two than one
I think it would be like having two family's. So, that would depend on how family minded you are.
When the seven year old is finishing colleague the youngest will still be in high-school.
If you want to be a professional mom, that would be great. If you are looking forward to you and your husband having time after the kids are gone then not so great.
The bonus of that much of an age span means that the older one can help.
It can be a little crazy when it comes to 2 carseat/booster seat in the vehicle. They take too much room. Taking the older one to school, you have to dress the baby, which is worse on colder days, when bundling is a must.
(my older 2 are 5 1/2 years apart)
Overall, it will be worth it & fun! You might even have someone willing to change diapers?! LOL!
read my story answer THE CHILD'S VIEW on ur other question (itz good) kinda goes with a married mom though...OOpz
