What's wrong with...?
Answer:
First off, your neighbor, is it Mr. Magoo?
They need to mind their own business and keep things to themselves!
You are a grown woman with the right mind and attitude to do whatever the heck you want to do.
Like you said, it's not like that's gonna be the only car you use. You have two other reliable cars for the child to ride in when you even need or want to take the child with you.
And your child won't be a child forever, and neither will the offer on the car you want. Who knows, maybe in just a few years, the child will enjoy riding in the car with Mommy on fun weekend outings.
So do what you want. It's your money and your business!
Hope you enjoy your new car :-)
kids can ride in a convertible..as long as the car is safe.. you neighbor needs to mind his/her own bizz
if you have other cars that your child is safe in, and you are taking good care of him instead of just spending your money on cars and not on your child (no, that would be a man haha) then your neighbor is wrong. as long as oyu are responsible and drive safely with your child in the other vehicles and NOT in the two-seater, with your child in the front, then you are fine. It is your decision what you do, not your neighbor's.
Do the right thing for your child. there will be enough time for fun cars later
It's your money not his so he should keep his nose out of it. Imean after all you have a family car for family outings. He is just jealous. It makes me think of what my husband says when our kids are being bad " We could have had a Corvette you know"
As long as you don't ride around with your child in the new car, nothing. You said you have an SUV utilize that vehicle to ride your child around in. Tell your nosy neighbor to mind their own business.
So dont take the kids in that car. Why shouldnt you buy what you want even if it isnt for the kids. Everything in an adults life doesnt have to revolve around the kids.
As long as you do not put a car seat in the car it is probably fine. But, let me ask, would it be a good FINANCIAL decision? I mean you have 2 cars, why a third? You could probably use the money you would spend on the car to go towards something more useful.
It's not wrong to buy the car if you have no worries about being able to maintain it, able to make the rent, able to meet your family's other basic expenses, etc.
It would only be no-brainer wrong, and illegal, if you bought the car and then tried to find a way to put a child seat in for your child's use.
