What age is a good age for kids to go to the movies with thier friends with no adult supervision?

Well I have just always wondered what is a good age?

Answer:
it all depends on how responsible your kids are. I think maybe 12. Having them go with kids you've met before and trust,is also important.. It also depends on the movie they would be seeing. I think going to the movies at the same time as your kids, but seeing a different movie, is also a good idea.
12, usually they can't get into much trouble.
depends on the movie...13
11 12 13 and up
i would say 15 is good age
I think 13 is good
13. But this depends on how trust worthy your child is. You or some adult will have to take them and pick them up anyway so it should be fine.
12, with strict instructions not to leave with anyone, take a drink from anyone or go outside until you pull up. It's getting to be a pretty common hang out for pre-teens and young teenagers so you can reasonably deduct that predators will start hanging around too.
Well, that depends on your child and her friends. But I would say at 16 with a curfew and phone check ups...;-)
I'd say you could start dropping them off and leaving them for an hour or two at about 11.
I'd say 12. As long as it is an appropriate movie of course for their age.
I think between 13 and 15
Because at that age your kid will look big and old enough to make sure that noone picks on him. But still i suggest that you check what 'type' of movie he is watching
15 and up
14 or 15
Hmmmm...depends.

A Saturday matinee? I started going to those with my friends when I was about 7 or 8.

An evening movie? 11 or 12, I'd say.
11-12.
I would say about 15 if the child is responsible.
16
it depends how close they are to the cinema, if they can walk their or if they need a train.

id say about 13.
Well I'm 13 and I go with my friends almost every week to the movies with no adults.. in fact, we just went Friday to go see Stomp The Yard..
15
